Description:
The Vascular Laboratory at King’s College Hospital is recruiting for Clinical Vascular Scientists. Applications are invited from those with accreditation with Society for Vascular Technology or HCPC registration as Clinical scientist in vascular science. The role attracts and additional £5k per year recruitment and retention premium.
Performing and reporting on peripheral vascular investigations and the interesting and varied pathology seen in a tertiary referral centre, including, renal artery duplex scanning, dialysis access fistulas, transcranial imaging for children with sickle cell disease, as well as ultrasound guidance for interventional procedures. Support can be provided in specialist areas of practice as needed

The post will be based at Denmark hill but will require candidates to contribute to clinics at other locations including the Princess Royal University Hospital which is part of King’s NHS trust. The post-holder will scan and report independently on the full range of vascular ultrasound investigations and be expected to maintain their own project work under supervision where needed.
Accredited or HCPC registered clinical vascular scientists who don’t quite have the experience for the senior role may be eligible for a post at band 7 level and are also encouraged to apply.
