Summary of Objective:
Responsible for the material handling of all drug products and other materials required to support the packaging, labeling and distribution activities of the clinical supplies business, maintaining an orderly Good Manufacturing Practices compliant warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physically receive, inspect, and reconcile incoming material, then place into warehouse locations.
  • Interacts daily with the site ERP System to accurately move/ transact materials.
  • Coordinate the timely shipment of all clinical supplies to investigator sites involving logistical planning and accurate determination of timelines for receipt at the site.
  • Double check materials shipped by a co-worker.
  • Pick, pack and ship clinical supply shipments to other PCI distribution “hubs”.
  • Be available to courier personnel for incoming shipments, sign for shipments.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is kept in an “audit ready” state at all times.
  • Participation in an audit if required.
  • Ensure that the inventory tracking system is accurate and up to date for all inventory receipts/moves.
  • Stage materials as required for packaging and labeling activities, putting away finished goods and updating the warehouse location of the goods in the inventory tracking system.
  • Physically count and verify inventory counts either by cycle count or physical inventory count.
  • Receipt/reconciliation of drug returns.
  • Verify all documentation prepared prior to put away.
  • Control, stage, document, and coordinate the pickup of returned goods for destruction.
  • Coordinate all destruction requests with a third party, ensuring receipt of “Certificate of Destruction” are received in a timely manner.:
  • Ensure that the documentation trail clearly reflects confirmation of drug receipts at all receiving sites (ie. Investigator sites, other PCI sites, etc.).
  • Responsible to investigate and isolate any material or product identified as having a quality problem, until corrective action can be identified by QA.
  • Completion of pristine documentation to support all material management responsibilities.
  • Actively forecast/anticipate potential bottlenecks in the supply process and provide possible solutions to any identified problem areas.
  • Back up support to the various functions of the Clinical Packaging Operations Team as required.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
