Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Clinician will conduct intake assessments, and provide individual and group counseling services to adults with Serious Mental Illness SMI, including those with co-occurring substance use in our Acute Partial Hospital and outpatient programs.
The Clinician will design and implement wellness and recovery plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents patient outcomes according to department policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health related field
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:
- Shift working, 8:30-4:30pm each day
- Monday-Friday
- FT
Responsibilities:
- Interprets nature of illness and prescribed course of treatment to patients and families
- Communicates family issues to other staff members
- Participates in planning conferences
- Maintains up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team, assist in reviewing and updating treatment and discharge plans
