Your Role
You will provide exceptional vision towards defining, building and modernizing custom applications for the Cloud. You will draw from your deep expertise in Cloud Application Development, micro-servers and serverless architectures to define and deliver Cloud solutions, from pre-sales solutioning through go-live and beyond. You will continually assess trends, technologies and techniques in modern application development. You will define specific customer solutions for multiple Cloud platforms. You will provide technical leadership to multiple projects while guiding, mentoring and building team capabilities. You will leverage best practices to ensure quality deliverables. You will serve a key role in transforming and scaling the organization for growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and project delivery success.
Responsibilities

Strong experience with custom application development for a variety of customers and verticals. er and Cloud Application Development Practice Management, Presales and Go to Market activities. Strong experience with presales solutioning, architecture, development and deploying modern, customized Cloud Application solutions, both new, green-fields applications as well as modernizing legacy applications for microservices, serverless and modern platform services.

  • Develop and communicate the growth strategy and roadmap for the Cloud Application Development Practice including establishing buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and continually refine Cloud application architectures for modernized and green-field custom applications for major public Cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI. Leverage current and emerging best practices while meeting specific customer technical and functional requirements. Maximize architectural and component reusability.
  • Support leadership to develop and implement resourcing strategies that delivers the most cost effective and appropriate mix of internal and external resources, optimizing the respective solution delivery to improve service, increase delivery and reduce costs.
  • Recruit, motivate and mentor a customer-focused team. Establish a culture that embraces responsibility and accountability; that values teamwork and lifetime learning; and that encourages diversity and delivers successful projects and solutions.
  • Act as a thought leader; leverage technology trends and new services; and constantly refine the processes and methods to drive speed of deployments and cost effectiveness. Help customers understand and leverage modern cloud capabilities to drive business value.
  • Optimize the right mix of technologies, services, tools and methods to meet specific customer needs. Understand the customer’s big picture to define future-proof architectures and solutions. Adapt and evolve same when needed during delivery; leverage for repeat business and as patterns for other customers.
  • Ensure effective engagement between onshore, nearshore and offshore teams.
  • Build an environment of trust and collaboration between Navisite and our customers.
  • Collaborate with Practice Leadership, Sales, Solution Architects and other Navisite teams to define and scope innovative solutions for complex and large-scale customer challenges.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and experience building teams is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to interact and communicate with CxO-level personnel and navigate customer organizations to ensure successful project delivery and acceptance. Proven ability to interact and communicate with technical teams and leadership.
  • Proven ability to bring technical leadership to delivery of large-scale solutions for multiple customers using Agile methods.

  • Deep cloud and application development knowledge; develop and maintain a solid understanding of current and emerging cloud infrastructure and platform services, modern technical stacks, tools and delivery methodologies.
  • Project delivery: Strong ability to drive technical solution design and provide technical leadership, direction, mentoring to project team members throughout delivery. Strong ability to be as hands-on as needed to ensure project success.
  • Customer Experience: Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Executive Presence: As key technical point of contact to customer business and technical teams,

instill confidence in prospects, customers, partners about Navisite’s application delivery capabilities. · Crisp, clear and concise communicator – both written and verbal – from initial pre-sales solutioning through delivery and go-live.

  • Trusted Advisor: Earn our customer’s trust by delivering outsized business outcomes. Address and manage complex customer issues and provide technical and business recommendations aligned with account strategy.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as an application architect and technical leader.
  • Exceptional experience as a Cloud application architect.
  • 5+ years’ direct people management experience preferably in a professional services team.
  • Hands-on application development experience. Project management experience is helpful.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude with high self-awareness, professionalism, and ownership.
  • Ability to identify, attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Proven track record planning and managing large, customer-facing digital transformations.
  • Experience solution selling with a strong belief that solutions increase customer success and drive product adoption.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, critical thinking.
  • Strong stakeholder management along with the ability to build one’s own “brand”.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands.
