Job Description
Role Summary
MANN+HUMMEL is a leading provider of filtration solutions for automotive, industrial, commercial and consumer segments. An exciting opportunity exists to join the global IoT R&D lab based in Singapore focusing on the fast growing trend of Internet-of-Things solutions, with potential applications across many different business segments. The IoT Lab is a technology group focusing on innovating and developing smart products and solutions for the MANN+HUMMEL group. As an IoT Center of Competence, we provide leadership in the IoT domain, collaborating with other teams and experts globally.We are looking for an experienced technical person for cloud development of smart / connected products. This is a unique opportunity to join a new technology group and play a key role in the development of IoT end-to-end products and solutions for an industry leader.
Main Tasks

• Design and implement cloud solutions.
• Support implementation of Proof of Concept, Proof of Technology, and Proof of Value for IoT smart products
• Maintain high quality standards in production cloud infrastructure and automated testing.
• Maintain high reliability of our cloud services.
• Document and capture cloud related tasks in Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain and improve digital products.
• Analyze development and operational issues and communicate them and the associated potential solutions effectively to stakeholders.
• Document all major decisions and architectural designs.
• Automate everything that can be automated, document the rest.
• Define approach to launch new technologies frequently and systematically. Rapid project approach.
• Proactively work with internal stakeholders to bring the technologies into products and solutions.
• Responsible for CI/CD pipeline.
• Helping to define architectural standards.
• Define microservice-based architectures.
• Conduct review and audit for cloud systems.
• Setting up of IoT infrastructure for new projects.
• Security in the cloud.

Your Profile
-
- Computer science degree (or equivalent).
- Proficient in Python or similar language
- 5+ years of experience in leading (external) software development teams.
- Adept in AWS or similar cloud provider.
- Experience with IaC frameworks (e.g. Cloudformation or Terraform)
- Familiar with serverless architecture design (e.g. AWS lambda, AWS DynamoDB)
- Sufficient technical understanding of IoT cloud connectivity technologies such as IoTMQTT.
- Experience in SaaS product delivery in a CI/CD environment.
- Great communication skills in cross-functional, international team.
- Agile mindset, customer driven and results oriented
- Experience in Agile methods e.g. Scrum
- Experience in container technologies.
- Ability to work in a global team across timezonesn autonomous team.
- Ability to multitask and execute with a positive “can do” attitude
- Ability to learn fast through self-directed interdisciplinary research
