ABOUT THE ROLE

Cloud technologies are revolutionizing how businesses operate, with platforms like AWS and Azure leading the charge. As a Cloud Content Developer, you will play a key role in advancing our mission to democratize cloud education.
You’ll work closely with our expert instructors and the Cloud Curriculum team, comprising educators, data scientists, and technologists. Your focus will be on expanding our cloud content library with new materials. You’ll contribute to courses, practice pools, and projects, acting as a reviewer, thought partner, and advocate for our learners. With a strong technical background in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, and the ability to influence across functional groups, you will make data-driven decisions and lead complex projects to successful completion.
To be effective in this role, you must have strong technical skills and a sincere interest in educational technology. This position is ideal for someone passionate about cloud education, who wants to join a fast-growing startup that’s training the next generation of cloud professionals and building the world’s best network of cloud instructors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will focus your time on the following areas:

Content Creation

  • Develop new and engaging content focused on AWS, Azure, and other cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to add new and creative interactive learning experiences to our cloud content.
  • Provide critical feedback on specifications for new courses.
  • Write automated tests in Python to provide personalized feedback for learners.
  • Use SQL to make data-driven suggestions for content improvements based on learner feedback and engagement data.

Project Management

  • Manage the course development process from post-planning through course launch.
  • Work closely with course instructors to make content interactive and engaging.
  • Effectively set and hold instructors accountable for deliverable deadlines.
