UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to receive Security clearance is required for this role [minimum of 5 consecutive years of residency in Canada.]
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Enterprise Data Lake and related eco-system technologies
- Passionate about learning Amazon Web Services, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Perform performance tuning for queries, applications, and resources
- Provide solutions and take preventative steps while resolving operational problems
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures for all supported database platforms
- Collaborate with Team, Database Administrators and Developers to understand and document requirements
- Follow Change Management Process and support project development within documented standards
- Collaborate closely with team members, technical leads, and application support teams to ensure quality database services
- Define, document, and implement consistent standards and procedures
- Contribute innovative solutions and best practice improvements
