We are seeking a delivery focused Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to provide technical leadership, create design artifacts and develop application migration wave plans to support a private Data Centre to public cloud migration.
This Full Time, Fixed Term (until November 2025) position is currently based in Blackburn North with WFH/Hybrid options available.
About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Cloud and IT Infrastructure the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing Cloud and related infrastructure
  • Architectural support, oversight and troubleshooting of application migration waves to public cloud
  • Supporting identification and mitigation of cloud and security risks and issues
  • Analysis of cloud usage to make recommendations for improved design

About you

WHILST ALSO HAVING EXPERIENCE:

  • in an Enterprise or Emergency Services and/or Health Services organisation
  • developing application migration wave plans
  • with cloud based Virtual Networking, Compute, Storage, Cost Management and addressing security controls and audit issues in the Cloud
  • in architecting and implementing a secure Enterprise Cloud infrastructure
  • levering IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services in complicated designs
  • in Enterprise cloud Landing Zones and migrations as well as Azure Native Security Services
  • with Microsoft Applications, Microsoft Azure, cloud design, Azure DevOps, Azure Repos/GIT, Azure Pipelines, CI/CD, ARM Templates, BiCep and/or Terraform
