OVERVIEW:

As a Cloud Network and Security Engineer, your role will include:

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and support of next-generation cloud firewall features and capabilities
• Understand and deploy public cloud network architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Maintain, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud network and security infrastructure solutions, including hybrid cloud connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, Site-to-Site and remote client VPN, Intrusion prevention and detection systems, etc.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to implement consistent technical solutions and support processes.
• Assist with on-call support as needed.

Primary Qualifications:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years of total work experience
• Minimum 1-year work experience with public cloud hosting and support (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
• At least one certification in one of the big three CSPs: Azure, AWS, GCP
• Knowledge of networking and security support in an Enterprise Infrastructure and public cloud space
• Experience with firewall configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

• English language proficiency

Preferred

• Cloud certifications in either Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Alibaba, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with multiple Cloud Service Provider networks; Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Alibaba, or Google Cloud Platform network implementation and support
• Experience with network security and security operations, including but not limited to cloud-native firewalls, cloud-native security services, Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls, cloud-native load balancers, F5 load balancers, Unified Threat Management firewalls and IPS
• Experience with PowerShell, Postman, Cloud Formation Template, and automating security processes or configuration in the public cloud is a plus.
