Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major cloud migration project. Look no further as our major Qld government client is looking for a Program Risk Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate project risk workshops, and ensure all risks are appropriately triaged and documented.
- Track and monitor effectiveness of risk controls, and response actions and ensure the quality of the project risk data in the registers.
- Implementation of appropriate governance and risk managmenet frameworks and security protocols
- Develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation strategies, and implementation plans for key corrective actions and preventative controls, including obtaining relevant approvals.
- Employ analytical methods to develop meaningful reports and confidently present findings to key stakeholders that will enable them to make informed decisions.
- Promote risk management culture within each of the project teams and portfolio operations team.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role managing security and risk for complex ICT programs or portfolio.
- Sound knowledge of good quality risk and control assessment practicesa
- Demonstrated ability to identify training needs for risk management and oversee the risk competence and awareness across the project teams.
- Experience in delivery of compliance reviews and ongoing development of related processes.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical issues and formulate correspondence.
