CLOUD SECURITY ANALYST

Procom Labs is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to join their highly committed IT Team. The successful candidate will be leading day-to-day security analysis, as well as working alongside the team and performing duties as assigned by the Manager, IT Infrastructure and Support.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in Information Technology: 4 - 10 years (Required)

3+ years of experience in progressive IT Security roles: 3 - 10 years (Required)

  • Must have an industry recognized security certification(s): 1 year (Required)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take responsibility for corporate security – working within the infrastructure team to constantly improve security posture and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Proactively monitor for indicators of compromise, conducts threat hunting, and leads investigations of possible security breaches.
  • Accountable for vulnerability management (scanning, timely remediation, pen testing, etc.).
  • Continuously research and design, test and implement, new security technologies for: Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Users’ Identities and Devices.
  • Responsible for Security Incident Response and Management – working with the team to constantly improve User Security Awareness and security response levels.
  • Improve infrastructure and network security by monitoring, configuring, and tuning Servers, Storage, Networks, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN; solve and document problems.
  • Maintain and implement security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee cybersecurity maturity assessments, penetration testing, and take responsibility for educating/improving the infrastructure team, as well as users on security best practices.
  • Proactively conduct ITGC assessments and processing of security audits in a timely manner.
  • Action security related tickets and incidents, including change requests, incident investigation/remediation, troubleshooting, and monitoring of systems.
  • Perform daily checks across all identified security services & solutions.
  • Respond after-hours to high priority or emergency IT security-related events.
