We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) focusing on Azure Infrastructure Innovation to join the Customer Success Team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft’s Azure Infra customer base. This customer-facing position is a hands-on technical role spanning across design, build, and operations with a focus on issue resolution to remove customer technical obstacles and adoption challenges. You will work with select customers to lead deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise architects, platform engineers and developers. You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams to develop pilots and oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed on adoption.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related AND 2+ years’ experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external) with ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships to bring business value while demonstrating situational awareness and insightful listening.
  • 2+ years experience working on technical projects especially in Well Architected Framework/Cloud Adoption Framework (WAF/CAF), Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Centricity
  • Customer Satisfaction - Develop relationships with key customer IT decision makers, who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates. Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering teams to remove blockers.
  • Customer/Partner Insights: Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.

  • Delivery Excellence- Own committed pipeline and ensure delivery in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Consumption (Cloud & Support) growth: Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft’s Azure Infrastructure value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology.
  • Architecture Design and Deployment - Run Architectural Design Sessions to build plan for implementing solution –governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Use CAF Landing Zones to rapidly enable migrations and help build customer resiliency.
  • Resolution of Customer Blockers
  • Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging Azure Infrastructure technical subject matter expertise. Lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments. Deliver all work according to MS best practices & policies.
