Description:

  • Good understanding of ETL.
  • Good understanding of Linux (disk management, memory management, permissions).
  • Good understanding of Networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTPS, etc.).
  • Be able to read and understand SQL, and Python/Scala code.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with multi-tasking ability.
  • Should be a self-starter who is excited about learning new technology.
  • Open to working non-standard hours (no night shifts) including a Sun-Mon or Fri-Sat weekend.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

Amazon is now offering flexibility to choose among two different working models, in-office and hybrid. Please, check below further information:

  • In Office: Employees will be office based for the majority of their time. Employees on an in-office work pattern will be assigned a desk in an Amazon building. Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to (Dublin).
  • Hybrid: Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to (Dublin), but have the flexibility to regularly work from home as well as from the office. Employees on a Hybrid work pattern will be expected to attend at their assigned office a minimum of one day per week. These employees will follow agile seating when in office.
