Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Transformation Leader/Consultant to guide major clients through the planning, execution, and management of comprehensive cloud transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cloud technologies, software engineering, program management, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with executive-level stakeholders to ensure that cloud initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and deliver significant business value.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- Professional certifications in cloud architecture and project management such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, PMP, etc
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years focused on cloud computing in a leadership role
- Proven track record of leading successful large-scale cloud transformation projects in complex enterprise environments
- Background in Enterprise/Solutions architecture for cloud transformation projects
- Background in Data Strategy, Master Data Management in the application, and data migrations to the cloud
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Expertise in infrastructure automation, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority and navigate complex political landscapes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
- Ability to travel as needed to engage with clients and stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud transformation strategy development sessions with stakeholders to define scope, goals, budget, timelines, and success metrics
- Direct responsibility for all aspects of the EPAM program including planning, execution, and delivery
- Supervise the end-to-end processes involved in the cloud transformation, ensuring synchronization between different teams and a cohesive approach across the organization
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, with readiness to implement contingency plans to manage and minimize impact on the program
- Architect large-scale cloud solutions that meet the complex needs of the business and align with industry best practices
- Design and manage a comprehensive program plan that includes all aspects of the cloud transformation, including infrastructure, applications, security, and compliance
- Oversee the execution of cloud transformation projects from concept through completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership on cloud technologies and shaping best practices in the cloud domain
- Engage with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and translate these into actionable cloud transformation initiatives
- Navigate organizational dynamics and manage change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption of new cloud services
- Establish strong governance structures and processes to steer the program and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Monitor and manage vendor relationships, ensuring services and solutions meet contractual agreements and provide the best value
- Proactively communicate with and engage all key stakeholders ranging from executives to technical teams and vendors
- Strive to build consensus among diverse interests and address concerns to maintain alignment on strategic objectives
- In collaboration with the client, drive organizational change management effectively, ensuring the organization adapts seamlessly to new processes and technologies
- Have a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, digital strategies, software engineering excellence, user experience, product management, and development
- Cultivate a program culture that values continuous improvement, seeking stakeholder feedback, and iterating on processes
