Club Manager / CEO (part-time)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced individual to join Stony Creek Racing Club in the role of CEO/Club Manager.
The club requires a highly motivated, energetic and innovative leader to run a progressive and exciting thoroughbred racing business.

IF YOU HAVE THE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES LISTED, THEN THIS MAY BE THE POSITION FOR YOU:

• Experience in and passion for the thoroughbred industry (desirable though not necessary)
• Ability to operate effectively in a race club environment
• Ability to manage operations to ensure alignment with the club’s strategic objectives
• Event management experience, with the ability to innovate and problem solve
• Strong customer and client focus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven financial and business acumen; ability to develop and adhere to budgets
• Proven ability to create and foster strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage a small part-time and casual workforce to meet Club targets and objectives
• Demonstrated integrity and the ability to uphold Club values
• Experience in OH&S management and regulatory compliance
