Description:
Are you a dynamic and results-driven sales professional? The Fairways Hotel and Gateway Hotel in Dundalk are seeking a talented Cluster Sales Manager to join our team. Role Overview: As the Cluster Sales Manager, you will be responsible for securing corporate business, conferences, meetings, and events for both the Fairways and Gateway Hotels. Your primary focus will be to generate new business and maximize revenue potential from companies in Louth, Dublin, Northern Ireland, and the surrounding areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar sales role in the Leinster/Ulster region.
- Strong B2B sales knowledge and relationships with corporate, conference, and event bookers.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends in the hospitality and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Event) business.
SKILLS:
- Proactive and creative with an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development for corporate bedrooms, meetings, events, and M&E bedrooms.
- Secure local events such as formals, charity events, sports events, and corporate events like Christmas parties, BBQs, and staff events.
- Ensure a robust future pipeline for the Meeting & Events business for both hotels.
- Conduct a minimum of 40 sales calls per month and complete monthly sales reporting.
- Build synergies between the hotels for corporate meetings and events.
- Nurture top corporate, conference, meetings, and events accounts.
- Collaborate with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing on commercial plans and attend regular sales meetings.
- Represent the hotels at local business and industry events, trade shows, and client events.
- Manage and optimize the company’s sales software.
