POSITION SUMMARY

As a Marketing Executive for the Marriott Central London Cluster, you will play a key role in the success of delivering marketing plans for 5 of the brand’s leading centrally located hotels. Be the go-to person for all things social media and digital marketing for London Marriott Hotel County Hall, London Marriott Hotel Kensington, London Marriott Hotel Maida Vale, London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch and London Marriott Hotel Regents Park.
With a focus on social media, content marketing and digital advertising, you will play an integral role in the growth of the company.
You will work with key stakeholders to plan and oversee the execution of marketing strategy that will help our hotels grow sales, raise awareness and improve their brand image. This includes but is not limited to content creation, digital advertising, social media management, partnership activation development and creating sales supportive campaigns.
You will set clear campaign goals and targets and provide regular reporting to ensure you are working effectively towards the goals for our clients, company and your personal development.

Responsibilities:

To achieve success in the role, the marketing executive:

  • Creates and plans a visual strategy to be delivered on social media
  • Assists in orientation, and training of new marketing department staff
  • Considers company marketing budget and uses financial strategy to make decisions on advertising budget
  • Oversees the production of marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
  • Supports in the creation of content for hotels
  • Regularly interacts with hotel and department leaders receive information and updates about their goals and business
  • Presents regular updates and information to other departments
  • Works with hotel leaders to incorporate marketing needs into overall company planning and strategy
  • Monitors competitor activity and brainstorms potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy, products, or services
  • Organises and attends company-wide and marketing events
  • Adheres to and implements company policies and procedures
