Are you looking to get started or advance your healthcare career? Haven Place, a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility located in the town of Lock Haven, in North Central PA is currently seeking Nurse Aide Trainees (NA Trainees) to join our team! This is a paid training and UPMC will cover the costs associated with becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

EDUCATIONAL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS FOR A CNA/NA TRAINEE:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of nursing assistant training program.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and transfer techniques.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• May in the course of their job duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed. In the course of duties may be asked to distribute medications to the nurse at the bedside. Access to medications is limited to the distribution of the medication to the nurse.
