Fulltime Permanent CNC Operator role for a world class manufacturer in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. For a CNC Operator or machinist interested in working for an industry leader in steel and aluminium fabrication with strong commitment to excellence and using the latest manufacturing practices.

• Requires CNC operating experience, and Australian work rights
• Salary Range up to $35 per hour
• Based in Northern suburbs of Melbourne

A normal dayincludes Operating equipment such as HAAS lathes, Bending and milling machines

• Laser cutting steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
• Computer controlled folding.
• Computer controlled stamping.
• CNC machining (from 3 axis to 5 axis).
• Welding aluminium, steel and stainless steel.
• Computer controlled mandrel tube bending.
• Robot polishing.
• Shot blasting.
• Painting.
• Overhead cranes to move large assemblies
• Receiving goods and forklift operating

The job can also include a daily clean up, forklift driving, unloading trucks, wrapping pallets, stacking parts, everyday use of an overhead crane. Production Bending parts for truck and car industry. Writing programs to create new parts, maintaining and updating programs for parts.

You could also have access toRobotic Plasma cutter machine operator,Turret punch operator, work as aQuality Assurance Inspector, aCrane Operator, welding and Fabrication of truck chassis, cross members and turntables, CNC Drill machines, Laser Plasma Cutters, Work and CNC Brake press machines.
