Responsibilities:
- Program and operate a variety of CNC milling machines and lathe
- Read and interpret Engineering drawings/blueprints and Solid models
- Translate instructions into computer commands so machines perform correct function
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts
- Resolve problems with products or design changes
- Modify programs and change offsets as necessary; Identify and correct machine and programing errors
- Utilize and comply with all manufacturing and quality standards
- Verify dimensions of parts and tools using precision measuring instruments
- Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies
- Keep machines and surrounding area clean while maintaining a safe work environment
- Other duties may be assigned
