You carry out various technical studies on systems in your field of specialisation (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, ATM, MET). According to your competences in the field(s) of specialisation, you will be entrusted with one or more of the following responsibilities, you will be entrusted with one or more of the following responsibilities.

FOR THIS VACANCY, THE PRIMARY FOCUS WILL BE ON THE “FREQUENCY MANAGEMENT” ASPECT. HERE, YOU HAVE A CRUCIAL ROLE IN THE PROVISION, MANAGEMENT AND NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COORDINATION OF FREQUENCIES AND SPECTRUM NECESSARY FOR THE CORRECT OPERATION OF OUR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPLICATIONS. YOU WILL ALSO ENSURE THAT ALL REGULATORY AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS ARE MET.

WHAT DO YOU DO AS OUR CNS/ATM/MET SYSTEMS STUDY ENGINEER?

Analyse technical infrastructure needs of users and maintenance services in your field of specialisation. This includes among other things:

• conducting surveys among users and maintenance services;
• giving precise, complete but concise descriptions of needs;
• defining a concept and summarising it in a concept document;
• getting the concept document approved by stakeholders (users/maintenance teams).
