The QC Co-op role position will be reporting to the QC Manager, position will be responsible in supporting QC laboratory to perform analysis of finished pea protein and related products. Assisting lab in allergen and glyphosate testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis on finished and feed product as per methods established by quality control department.
  • Maintain laboratories records through logbook and perform result recording in SAP.
  • Communicate analytical data to supervisor daily as directed.
  • Record test results to ensure in-specification and out-of-specification (OOS) products are clearly

    identified and segregated.

  • Ensure laboratory standards as per GLP norms.

  • Preparation and management of in-house reagents.
  • Management of lab inventory through SAP.
  • Perform verification and calibration on quality control equipment (daily monitoring and recording on SAP).
  • Follow safe work practices in the laboratories and workshops. Communicate safety issues and challenges regularly with QC team.
  • Ability and willingness to work after hours and weekend, if needed.
  • Excellent at multitasking and good organizational skills.
  • Detailed orientated and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Strong mathematical skill application

Qualifications and Requirements:
Education Requirement:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university/college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to (12) weeks from June - August 2024.
Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
