JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

As the Coding Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all coding functions of the business office. This entails financial analysis and management. Your goal is to manage the flow of work with your team and contribute to the success of the business by meeting/exceeding established goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• You will manage all coding functions
• Monitor and analyze reports and oversee the operational success of the business office
• You will manage the work flow and reassign your staff as workload demands
• You will conduct staff meetings and provide guidance and feedback to strengthen your team

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE

• Bachelors degree in Business or Health Care Administration desired, extensive or relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical office setting highly preferred
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
