We now have an exciting opportunity for a support assistant to join our busy in Coffee Operations team. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step beyond Barista/Supervisor in their coffee career.
You know that preparing delicious hot beverages is something of an art form that requires the correct set of skills and passion, and you’ll have the communication skills required for your role too – consistently positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and ready to adapt to changing service needs.
This role is an operational role meaning you will be working within the wider coffee team to provide operational support behind the scenes as well and providing Barista cover where necessary. Please be aware this role requires the successful candidate to commute across several locations across England and so a full UK driving license and access to own car is essential.

As a coffee operations support assistant, you will be required to:

  • Support our regional sites with barista cover, operational support, and training.
  • Ensure the business follows brand standards when serving food items and hot beverages.
  • Deliver pop ups and events that deliver innovation to our clients.
  • Organise time and systems to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
  • Manage any queue to ensure everyone is always engaged in the service experience.
  • Comply and ensure others comply with appropriate due diligence/stock rotation procedures.
  • Audits allocated sites efficiently following the brand expectations for each contract.
  • Create enthusiasm for the brand and coffee making.
  • Be flexible with time and understand that working weekends are sometimes needed when mobilising new coffee shop locations.
  • Manage your own time efficiently, understanding business priorities.

Ideally, you will have a Food Safety Level 2 certificate and be Barista trained. You will have at least 2 years’ experience as Head Barista or Supervisor in a coffee shop.
