POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re in search of a dedicated Sales Cold Calling Specialist to join our team at Mad Science, specifically for our Corporate Locations which are based in Los Angeles, Maine and Chicago. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in broadening our outreach and advocating for our science programs among schools, parents, companies and community organizations. REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in outbound cold calling or telemarketing roles, preferably in the education or children’s entertainment industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes
- Passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring children through science

Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound cold calls to schools, PTAs, community centers, companies and other potential clients to introduce Mad Science programs,
- Build rapport with decision-makers and influencers to generate interest and secure appointments,
- Clearly communicate the benefits and value of Mad Science programs to prospective clients,
- Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team to further discuss program details and close deals,
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and follow-up activities in the CRM system,
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation and conversion,
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
