APS 6 - PROGRAM MANAGER, COLLECTION STORAGE (APS MOBILITY OPPORTUNITY)

  • Provide technical advice regarding collection storage and relocations
  • Coordinate procurement, contract management and financial administration for collection storage plans and projects

    The Library is seeking to fill the non-ongoing role of Program Manager, Collection Storage (APS Level 6) in the Collection Storage Section of the Property & Sustainability Branch. This is a non-ongoing opportunity for 10 June 2024 to 16 August 2024.
    The Collection Storage Section is custodian of the Library’s Collection Storage Master Plan and manages all associated storage projects to support the long-term investment priorities of the Library.
    As the Program Manager, Collection Storage you will have the opportunity to assist in the development and delivery of the Collection Storage Master Plan, and in managing associated building works and storage projects.
    You will use your contract management skills to coordinate and administer contracts associated with significant storage equipment installations as well as providing technical advice and assisting in various aspects Library collection material storage and relocations.
    You will manage and maintain various internal and external stakeholder relationships as well as participating and consulting with various committees within the Library.

The following experience is desirable:

  • Equivalent experience or qualifications in construction, architecture, engineering and/or project management.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in Library collection material.
  • Experience working with major storage projects.
