Qualification and Experience

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This role resides in Diep River, Cape Town and reports to Collections Team Leader. The Collections Specialised Portfolio Administrator manages a specialised portfolio consisting of Legal, Deceased, Administration and Sequestration, and ensures all legislative and compliance requirements are achieved. The incumbent does this by maintaining compliance requirements such as Treating Customers Fairly, adhering to FAIS and NCA requirements.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

  • Experience in Legal, Deceased, Sequestration & Administration portfolio management of 2 or more years
  • Experience of Induplum, Prescription and Mora Interest
  • Recoveries experience of 2 or more years
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good knowledge about the product
  • Excellent sales ability

  • Good risk awareness and understanding of legislative requirements
  • The ability to navigate systems

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the EDC relationship to ensure they fulfil all required actions.
  • Ensure Legal and Administration (Legal, Deceased, Sequestration & Administration) portfolio is managed effectively, and all required tasks are completed at quality standards and within turnaround time.
  • Ensure account level actions are taken on system to maintain accurate workflow.
  • Ensure all legal documents are received, processed and commissioned where applicable.
  • Manage the reckless lending and affordability assessment process, and ensure all assessments complies with all NCA (National Credit Act) requirements and QA standards.
