Description:

Our team is expanding, and we are searching for an experienced Colour & Fabric Coordinator to join the Design team at our beautiful head office based in Alexandria. This role is permanent and full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seasonal colour and fabric digital development tracker is consistently maintained.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining visual and digital colour boards each season.
  • Ensure all physical swatches are ready and displayed for seasonal Range Reviews and Design Presentations. Ensuring all colour development folders are organised and up to date.
  • Responsible for Design Room colour, fabric and yarn library management and ongoing maintenance. Ensuring the Design Room colour space is kept tidy and organised.
  • Maintain digital artworks and vintage libraries.
  • Make enquiries on fabric selections to inform development feasibility. Ensuring all information is attained; MOQ’s, lead time, origins, meterage charges for both sampling and bulk and any additional charges + shipping lead-times. Ensuring all stakeholders are aware and this information is clearly documented in the colour tracker and discussed in team meetings when needed.
  • Maintain fabric information for team use to inform timelines and pricing structure.
  • Responsible for actioning, reviewing, and filing lab dips, knit downs and supplier submissions.
  • Create artwork files for yarn dye and printed fabrications. Colour separation, scaling and review graded artworks when required for production.
  • Create artwork files for printed and embroidered graphics.
  • Communicate artwork specifications and direct the supplier to ensure accurate development of knit downs, fabrics, and trims, when required.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure the on-time delivery of all yarns, fabrics, linings, and trims – adhering to the critical path.
  • Communicate comments with suppliers on all incoming colour, handlooms, knit downs and prints to ensure accuracy and desired outcome is achieved in line with Creative Direction.Collaborate with the development team regarding colour and yarn updates throughout the season. Ensuring all stakeholders are notified of any colour related changes.
