Overview
To support the large growth of Zifo, we are hiring a Commercial Account Manager and Business developer for to join our commercial team in Scandinavia.
At Zifo, we are a global service provider with focus on Scientific Informatics. We work across research, development, Clinical and manufacturing for companies where understanding science is key. We help customers to select, implement, integrate and maintain their software eco-system and we do that with the understanding of their business process. That is what makes us different, we understand the purpose of the applications which means we can better support our customer management, scientists and technicians.
This position will be focusing on developing existing portfolio of customers and Zifo’s footprint in Scandinavia, focusing on customers in the pharmaceutical and Biotech space. The ideal candidate will be located in Denmark. Travel is required for customer meetings and attending events and conferences (up to 30%).
What are the job responsibilities?
Lead business development activities in Scandinavia
Set up the account strategy and business plan
Explore and understand the customer needs through a consultative approach and propose suitable solutions
Coordinate response to RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal)
Perform active Business Development by expanding relationships beyond the current set of customer contacts/business groups
Partner with Service Delivery Managers at Zifo to ensure transition of projects from contracting to project execution
Partner with Service Delivery Managers at Zifo to monitor implementation of project management standards and participate to project governance meetings
Contribute to fiscal planning and customer revenue forecast
Identify and develop new opportunities in existing and new accounts by promoting Zifo as a trusted R&D partner
Provide insights into industry trends and share consultative inputs with customers
Contribute to Zifo’s culture and objectives

What are the requirements for the candidate?
3+ years of Customer Success Management / Account Management experience at a Software Services company/Product company or 2+ years of consulting experience in Life Sciences
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biology, or relevant life science field
Understanding of the scientific informatics domain (e.g. Laboratory Information Management System, Electronic Laboratory Notebook, scientific data management)
Strong project management abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and presentation capabilities
Detail oriented and ability to do multi-tasking at various levels; Self-starter and ability to prioritize critical tasks daily
High attention to detail organization skills and a team player
Integrity. An absolute requirement. With customers and internally.
Ability for Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning
Curiosity to learn the very diverse set of Zifo’s capabilities in order to engage with customers in every level of the organization, with the assistance of our solution experts in delivery and technical departments
