Description:
Running a business is hard, we make it easier. We provide an all-in-one business credit card & spend management platform, built for SMEs. Over 200,000 small businesses have spent more than £10 billion on their Capital on Tap Business Credit Cards.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team and help us continue our rapid growth trajectory. This autonomous and fast-paced role involves finding exciting commercial opportunities and turning these opportunities into real business growth.
For the first 12 months, this role will primarily focus on building out a world-class Sales function. Sales is our fastest-growing acquisition channel at Capital on Tap, a company priority, and one of the most exciting places to be in the business.
As the Sales channel scales, we’re looking for somebody to be our first dedicated analytical hire. In this role, you will assess and refine our approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Sales function. You will pilot new ideas, from ideation to implementation, and work to enhance the data integrity and reporting of the Sales function to help inform and improve our commercial decision-making.
You’ll be a hybrid analyst/strategist/operator, able to conduct analysis to identify opportunities, set these in the context of a broader strategy, and then deliver on them. You will report to our Senior Commercial Analyst and will have consistent face time with our COO, Commercial Director, Head of Sales, and the rest of the Sales team across our London Headquarters, as well as our Brighton and Manchester offices, where a majority of our Sales team works.
As you develop in the role, you will also have the opportunity to be exposed to other areas of the business, where you will apply your skills to other areas of the company where you can add the most impact.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Analysing and ideating opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs in our Sales operation.
- Uncovering process improvements and owning their development and implementation.
- Spending time with our Sales team to understand their pain points.
- Working closely with our data and reporting, potentially building your own datasets to support analytical requirements.
- Advising on strategic and commercial decisions.
