Description:
The Commercial Analyst is responsible facilitating the process to provide insights and thought leadership in the development of long-term agreements and supply chain solutions by setting a concrete proposal and pricing strategy in collaboration with the Seller based on a comprehensive customer analysis and a clarification of the RFP objectives. The Commercial Analyst collaborates with cross functional teams and (project) manages the development of the commercial proposal(s).
Besides this, the Commercial Analyst supports the data and analytic needs of the Sales and Solutions team and internal partners to ensure customer satisfaction, support of the corporate objectives and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the requirements and needs are known and the analysis is optimized to meet business requirements and communicate insights.
SUMMARY
General responsibilities include:
- (S)he supports business development initiatives through data and/or desk research, RFP analysis, process analysis, (joint) customer engagements, architecting (services) solutions and (co-)writing commercial proposals.
- S/he collaborates with cross functional teams and (project) manages the development of the commercial proposal(s).
- S/he is the driving force behind the (contextual) pricing strategy and ensures a timely, complete, and accurate delivery of the proposal.
- S/he is responsible for providing investigative, ad hoc reporting, standard reports, analysis tools and SQL queries in support of employees, cross functional teams, and the Sales and Solutions functions. S/he is tasked with gathering, structuring and visualizing data using Excel, SQL, CRM, and other innovative means.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
