This is an exciting opportunity to join Robert Dyas, a leading retailer in Home, Garden, DIY and Kitchenware. As our Pricing Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Trading Teams to optimise product margins and solidify our position as the preferred local choice.
Responsibilities:
Develop and test winning pricing strategies, working alongside category teams to maximise profitability and stay competitive.
Become a competitor pricing expert - you’ll monitor in-store and online pricing trends, recommending adjustments to keep us ahead of the game.
Leverage data analytics to create a strategic pricing calendar, ensuring all categories are regularly reviewed against local market pricing.
Partner with merchandising to identify clearance opportunities and adjust pricing for end-of-line and discontinued products.
Collaborate with the Head of Trading to build a robust reporting suite, tracking price movements across the business.
Be an innovator! Identify local events to develop pricing tests that drive footfall and conversion.
Maintain key databases and systems while contributing to process improvement and efficiency.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Operations.
Stay on top of marketing initiatives and promotional calendars.
Take on ad hoc projects designed to enhance the knowledge of buying and merchandising teams.
