WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making through your analytical skills and passion for data. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with business partners at all levels, understanding their data visualisation needs, sourcing relevant data, analysing it, and transforming it into valuable insights. You will be responsible for identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within procurement data, creating informative Power BI reports and dashboards that aid in strategy development. Your ability to pivot between different initiatives quickly while maintaining attention to detail will be crucial in this role.

• Provide timely reporting and data support to meet the daily and long-term strategic needs of the business.
• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets related to procurement activities.
• Identify risks and opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier performance, and optimised procurement processes.
• Create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards that visualise key procurement data.

You have proven experience in identifying strategic needs which lead to sound business recommendations. Your expertise extends to presenting complex technical information in an understandable manner for all stakeholders. With detailed experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Power BI solutions, you are adept at blending disparate data sources due to your solid understanding of data structures. Your excellent process management and problem-solving skills will be invaluable in this role.

• Knowledge and experience of relational database technology, specifically Microsoft SQL.
• High-level exposure to elements of the MS BI Stack (particularly Power BI).
• Proven ability to identify strategic needs leading to sound business recommendations.
