THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a vital role in business partnering with our Sales, Product and Billing teams as well as assisting with the commercial integration of our acquired businesses. Your skills in data analysis, project management, financial modelling and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business presents an exciting opportunity to support and execute making commercial decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in a business partnering capacity developing key relationships and influencing non-finance stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and problem solving capability
  • Intermediate to advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills (Excel/PowerBI)
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Prior experience and tangible achievements within a Commercial Finance capacity improving profitability and/or delivering organisational results across the business will be viewed favourably
  • Experience in the software and/or logistics industry is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Working with our acquired businesses to drive synergies from commercial integration and alignment across the Group including commercial, pricing and commission structure.
  • Undertake reviews of key customer contracts from a commercial and financial perspective, identifying areas of risk and opportunity.
  • Provide support to our sales team and various stakeholders on business opportunities, customer pricing and contract negotiations leveraging your commercial acumen and skills in financial modelling / scenario analysis.
  • Assist with the management of the monthly price and product update communications.
  • Collaborate with our product teams to develop and implement pricing strategies to drive the commercialisation of our new products.
  • Supporting the delivery of external reporting deliverables (Investor Deck, OFR and ASX Release) through supporting analysis, verification and proofreading and input on key messages.
  • Supporting the wider business on any ad-hoc requests for commercial and/or financial decision support.
