WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nabu Casa seeks a part-time commercial assistant (50%–60%) for its finance team. In collaboration with the current commercial assistant, you will oversee daily business operations and ensure all records are current. Additionally, you will assist our CFO and accountants by providing information, compiling reports, and performing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO

  • Process Payments and Transactions. You will be responsible for booking and managing payments and transactions. This involves ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and processed on time, maintaining financial records, and reconciling discrepancies as they arise, including responding to disputes on Stripe and PayPal.
  • Management of Expenses and Assets. You will help manage and record all company expenses, ensuring they are accurately tracked and reported. This includes processing expense reports, maintaining records of all expenditures, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, you will oversee the management of company assets, including tracking acquisitions, monitoring usage, and managing disposals.
  • Prepare VAT and Sales Tax Reports. Your responsibilities will include preparing and validating VAT and sales tax reports using the Naboo system for Avalara. You will ensure that all tax reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Create Invoices for Sales. You will write and issue invoices for hardware sales, ensuring they are accurate and sent out promptly. This includes verifying the details of sales transactions, calculating totals, and ensuring that invoices meet contractual terms and company standards.
  • Reports and data preparation. You will help process data for reports, reconcile them, and keep them up to date.

Nabu Casa is a fully remote company that uses Remote to employ people from all over the world. You will be a normal salaried employee in your country, and no work visa is required.This part-time role offers 20 hours of work per week, which is 50% of a full-time position. As we operate fully remotely, we do not require a fixed schedule. Our finance team primarily works in the mornings due to the CFO’s busy afternoon meeting schedule. This position is ideally suited for individuals with school-going children.You will be part of the finance team, and your team manager is based in Zug, Switzerland. You should live within a 30-minute radius of Zug.As a profitable company with no investors, we prioritize our team’s well-being. Some of our benefits include:

  • Five weeks (twenty-five days) of paid time off.
  • Fourteen days of paid sick leave if your country/laws treat them as unpaid.
  • Six weeks of paid and six weeks of unpaid parental leave to be used in the first year after birth. We will provide the missing days if your country/laws do not provide such compensation.
  • A budget to equip your home workspace once you start. After three years, you may keep this equipment for personal use.
  • A monthly smart home budget to ensure you keep up-to-date with the latest that smart homes offer.
  • A 50% contribution to your internet connection fee at your home workspace
