Responsibilities:
We are seeking an ambitious, high-performing lawyer, ranging from 4-6 years PQE, to join our Hospitality and Tourism team at Piper Alderman. This position would afford the successful candidate the opportunity to specialise under the mentorship of leading Partner, Jonathon Dodd, who was recently recognised in Best Lawyers in Australia for Hospitality and Tourism Law (Adelaide, 2025) and as a Recommended Property and Real Estate Lawyer (South Australia, 2024) by Doyles Guide. Jon leads by example with a strong commitment to client excellence with strong relationships in and outside the industry. Jon has developed his expertise at Piper Alderman since commencing as a Law Clerk at Piper Alderman in 2006.
This role is diverse in nature, meaning your average day will provide you the opportunity to streamline your expertise whilst building upon your client and business development skills, in a fun, yet hardworking team. Your role will involve acting for vendors, purchasers and landlords in transactions involving licensed and non-licensed premises and businesses. The team also advises landlords and tenants in respect of all aspects of leasing and assists clients with applications to the licensing authority.
