  A Melbourne-based legal firm is seeking a Commercial and Corporate Lawyer to join their growing firm. The diverse team of lawyers aim to deliver high-quality advice to its clients by collaborating and engaging in strategic and concise planning to deliver quality results.

IDEALLY, YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Australian consumer law
• Employee share plans
• PPSR regime
• Partnership of trusts
• Complex shareholder agreements
• Sale of businesses
• Share sale agreements with earn-out arrangements

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 to 5 years PQE in Corporate commercial world
• Excellent commercial drafting and negotiation skills

The Commercial & Corporate Lawyer should be personable, and skilled at dealing with clients from Founders to ASX-listed company directors. To perform effectively in the role, the candidate must be able to display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have strong commercial drafting and negotiating skills. Being results-driven is a major part of the role, the candidate must be able to assess a client’s risk appetite and develop effective solutions to complex commercial problems. Candidates who show interest and initiative towards the business development and marketing aspects of the firm will receive management support.
