Group14 is looking for a Commercial Counsel to join our growing team supporting the company’s legal operations. The Commercial Counsel will help drive Group14’s legal docket, contract negotiations, and various corporate matters directly counseling business clients on day-to-day, cross functional legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft, and review a wide variety of contracts such as sales agreements and supplier and vendor agreements, preferably in the automotive industry or adjacent.
- Serve as the in-house resource for corporate transactions such as financing events, investments, liquidity events, M&A, etc.
- Support corporate governance structure helping Group14 define and manage appropriate risk tolerance.
- Draft and maintain a variety of legal and business forms and documents, including form agreements.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners across the company to identify and mitigate risk.
- Prepare and deliver training, communications, and presentations to employees, management, and executives to drive policy.
- Draft legal and research memorandums.
