Ornua is currently recruiting for a Commercial Data Analyst to join our team, based in our Kerrygold Park office in Mitchelstown, By stepping into this role you will be Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will provide insightful and value adding commercial information to support the manufacturing base supplying a wide range of markets.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Third level degree in a discipline with a high level of numerical, analytical and/or financial content (Commerce, Economics, Finance).
3-5 years Industry experience in finance, economics, or business administration ideally within an FMCG environment.
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness is vital; possess strong analytical and critical thinking.
Strong communication skills are essential to articulate insights.
Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, BI and database management.
Familiarity with statistical software and data visualization tools is beneficial.
High energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst/accountant where they will broaden and develop commercial skills alongside manufacturing and market colleagues. The role provides autonomy to the individual, whilst at the same time working closely across supply chain, brand, and finance teams in the business. The role will involve low level of travel to the markets.
The Commercial Data Analyst will have the responsibility of analyzing market data and trends to inform strategic decisions. They will need to develop close working relationships with central demand planning and key stakeholders in each market. This input will facilitate growth and drive investment in the right areas of the business.
