SALARY

Competitive salary.
This is a varied role in a small but busy team. You’ll support the Marketing and Commercial departments in proactive engagement with internal and external business stakeholders and assist the development of our new customer value strategy . You ’ ll develop the annual PR plan for the business and support the Marketing team with local campaigns too.
As well as being responsible for writing press statements , you’ll find and create positive news stories, communicate news and information internally, monitor press and help to update the compan y’ s website and social channels.

You’ll need to have:

• Excellent oral and written skills
• Experience working and building relationships with stakeholders including the media
• Ability to understand complex issues and translate these into effective engaging communications
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Must always respect confidentiality
• Ability to stimulate positive news stories both internally and externally

Ideally, you’d also have experience in a working press office or similar busy news environment, hold a driving licence and have interest or experience in the bus industry.
