The ideal candidate would have business partnering experience within a fast-paced environment and strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Great communication and ability to win over leaders by consulting and challenging in the right way
- Ability to take a proactive approach in the execution of initiatives that will best support the strategic direction of MYOB
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools would be an advantage
- Professional accounting or finance accreditation preferred (CA; CPA)
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll provide detailed financial and commercial analysis to support key decisions across the business. You’ll play a key role in delivering commercial support across the wider commercial team with a focus on both operating and capital spending across the Enterprise and Practice Line of Business.
- Work in partnership with members of the Senior Leadership Team to provide ongoing financial recommendations and insight to drive achievement of business plans
- Support the annual financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality business planning around costs and CAPEX
- Understand monthly financial performance and any variances to Budget, then work with senior leaders to address any areas of concern
- Be the key financial contact for nominated SLT members, be able to communicate information and insights to drive strong business outcomes by translating management information into actionable plan
- Support ad-hoc projects including M&A, financial modelling and investment / capital allocation decisions
