We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst Wholesale (mat cover) in our London office.
Department Overview:
The Commercial Finance department based in London looks after all the strategic planning and reporting for the EMEA region. The team is positioned in the commercial head office to support sound financial business decisions, interact with and optimize relationships across all departments with a focus on Retail, Ecommerce and Wholesale.
In addition the team works alongside their counterparts in corporate finance based in Manno, Switzerland and Venlo, The Netherlands.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare robust annual budgets and subsequent iterations throughout the year in conjunction with the business partners for Wholesale.
  • Business partner with logistics, customer service and sales teams to produce robust monthly reforecasts and highlight any risks or opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Producing management reports and monitoring KPIs on key metrics (bookings, sales, gross profit, inventory, SG&A), highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Produce weekly wholesale reporting, including daily sales reporting, shipments reporting and monthly market orders analysis.
  • Effective cost control of all budgets and forecasts and providing stakeholders with relevant analysis.
  • Detailed profitability analysis of different areas of Wholesale such as department stores, online channels and travel retail.
  • Consolidate and review market forecast and final market orders with key stakeholders, monitoring cancellations and reorders.
  • Business partnering closely with the Wholesale and planning teams.
  • Provide ad hoc project support to the Wholesale team as required.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in a relevant role
  • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong commercial experience preferably in a Retail/ Wholesale / Ecommerce business.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Understand the fashion retail business in order to advise on opportunities for further business growth and operational excellence
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong business partnering experience.
  • Strong communication skills in a cross-cultural environment. Ability to communicate with Finance and Non Finance customers
  • Be a self-starter able to manage own time, priorities and drive key projects.
