The Opportunity
The Commercial Finance Manager – Nutramino & Nordics role will provide financial leadership and strategic direction to GPN’s business for the Nutramino brand and in the broader Nordic regions. The appointed person will work closely with the regional General Manager to ensure that all elements of financial performance are optimised, enabling delivery on operational targets and on longer term strategic goals. Responsibilities:

Partner with the regional General Manager to create and deliver a 3-year strategic plan focused on growth
Partner with the regional commercial leadership teams to drive financial performance of the business and to achieve financial objectives.
Direct and own the annual financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the business; submit accurate P&L forecasts on a regular basis.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financial performance of the business; explain actual business results to the executive team through clear and accurate written and verbal presentations.
Support a timely and accurate month-end accounting close process; coordinate with head office accounting leads as appropriate to ensure complete and accurate books and records are maintained.
Identify and drive initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve the overall profitability of the business
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to support the regional team including Sales, Marketing, and Product Supply.
Develop a comprehensive set of KPIs and analytics that will accurately represent business performance and will enable the organisation to optimally drive the business.
Drive the continuous development and enhancement of systems, processes and procedures to improve analysis, reporting and decision-support.
Deliver bespoke financial information and guidance to key stakeholders around strategic and operational initiatives and decisions.
Work closely with GPN financial control team to ensure that relevant financial controls exist, with tracking in place, to ensure a robust and accurate Balance sheet position for the region. Key focus on trade /marketing spend tracking
Work closely with Central FP&A teams to deliver all required group budget and forecasting cycles in line with GPN calendar.
The Skills you will bring to the team
Degree educated or equivalent as well as being a qualified accountant.
Big 4 accountancy/audit background is an advantage.
7+ years of corporate accounting and/or commercial finance experience
A proven track record of Financial Leadership and delivery of financial performance at a regional level
Strategic financial management, analytics and commercial experience in CPG/FMCG/retail trade
In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial principles across Nordic region – in particular Denmark and Sweden
Experience of leading and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines, in the context of high client expectations and tight time-frames.
Superb commercial acumen and strong appreciation of the challenges of growing a business via both e-commerce and bricks and mortar
High level of ability in terms of project planning, prioritisation and critical thinking will be essential
Experience of SAP and Business Objects is highly desirable
