  • 12 month fixed term contract
    An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG’s Office of General Counsel (OGC) for a commercial lawyer. The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

Key responsibilities include working with your colleagues to:

  • draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements
  • Review new products and service offerings
  • Provide legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings
  • Liaise closely with the business and external counsel

YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

You must hold a current practicing certificate, and we value lawyers with:

  • Post admission experience with a leading law firm or in an in-house environment
  • Experience negotiating general commercial contracts (experience in the engineering consultancy field is not essential but will be considered an asset)
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels
  • A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving
