We are looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst who will play an influential role in the Commercial Planning team to provide financial and analytical support to help achieve business objectives.
The role will deliver commercial reporting with analysis of touchpoints performance and provide insight to drive business growth. We are looking for someone with an ability to influence stakeholders across multiple commercial teams to drive operational efficiency and optimization by centralising commercial budget monitor.
Your ‘day to day’:

As a Commercial Planning Analyst, you will be responsible to:

  • Deliver accurate and timely commercial reports to all stakeholders to deliver business performance;
  • Develop analytics that connect commercial, operational, inventory, and sales data to help our business make better business decisions;
  • Develop and continuous improvement in data sets that enable improvement in analytical capabilities and business KPI’s;
  • Maintain a regular report to track actual spend and budget plan;
  • Responsible for managing financial input into financial system that aligned with financial calendar;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workplace to streamline processes and enhance efficiency;
  • Analyse stakeholders’ needs, ideate and contribute to the development of business cases for upcoming project opportunities;
  • Engage in stakeholder impact assessments and challenge requirements when not viable;
  • Foster strong relationships across various business units and stakeholders, promoting visibility and accountability.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum tertiary qualification in Finance or Business Administration
  • Experience with business partnering and presenting commercial analysis within internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Advanced data and statistical analysis skills with the ability to interpret results into actionable items. Experience with data visualisation software such as Tableau or PowerBI is advantageous
  • Ability to manage ambiguity
  • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
  • A storyteller who can visualize data & insights
