Description:

Our client is a Dutch family-owned leader in the agri-food sector. They have been supporting farmers and greenhouse growers for over 65 years in the transition to more efficient and sustainable food production methods. Their product portfolio ranges from hardware, software to consulting services. With production facilities in the Netherlands and 7 offices across 3 continents, the products reach partners such as investors, installers and greenhouse builders, as well as end users like growers and livestock farmers. On their behalf, we are currently seeking a Commercial Product Marketing Manager to join their team and work on the propositions and go-to-market strategy for their portfolio.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a Product Marketing role – managing the full product lifecycle and developing go-to-market strategies
  • Experience or strong interest in the agricultural technology industry
  • Prior experience with technical products
  • Excellent communication in English; Dutch language is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude
  • Experience with managing internal and external stakeholders at different levels

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and competitors analysis to identify successful product-market combinations
  • Drive the product launches
  • Understand the customer needs to optimize product propositions
  • Contribute to portfolio strategy to meet the customer needs
  • Manage the go-to-market strategy and process
  • Collaborate with the sales team on refining the pricing strategy
  • Plan and implement new value proposition strategies
  • Lead a cross-functional team to ensure successful product launches
  • Proactively investigate new industry trends
  • Manage external commercial partners
