REQUIREMENTS
- State Certified General Appraiser License.
- Minimum of three years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal, focusing on multifamily properties and low income housing.
- Proven experience in conducting rental comparability studies and market research.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret real estate market data.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification in the appraisal field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive appraisals of multifamily residential properties, providing accurate valuation advice for clients.
- Perform rental comparability studies, analyzing market trends and compiling reports to determine competitive market rents for various properties.
- Collaborate with the investment and property management teams to provide valuation and market positioning insights.
- Utilize advanced appraisal software and databases to collect, analyze, and report on market data.
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports that meet regulatory and client specifications, including narrative reports when necessary.
- Stay abreast of market developments, zoning regulations, and changes in legislation that may impact property valuation.
- Assist in developing business by fostering client relationships, including property owners, investors, and financial institutions.
