ROLE DESCRIPTION

Join Kal Tire’s team in Sparwood, BC, as a Commercial Service Technician, you’ll deliver top-notch service by performing tire service on commercial vehicles according to company standards. You will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams, assisting in maintaining and repairing commercial vehicle equipment and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every task.
This role is at our 601 Sparwood Drive, V0B 2G1 location

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ROLE

  • Tire Service Excellence: Execute tire service operations on commercial vehicles by Kal Tire’s standards, emphasizing precision and efficiency to uphold service quality.
  • Client and Team Collaboration: Engage closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless maintenance and repair of commercial vehicle equipment, demonstrating a dedication to excellence in all tasks.
  • Operational Proficiency: Display mastery in operational and technical aspects, including dismounting and mounting tires for various commercial vehicles, and adhering to safety protocols and load requirements.Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform thorough equipment checks, calibrations, and repairs, showcasing expertise in handling heavy-duty tire servicing equipment and tools to uphold operational efficiency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
  • Provide on-site fleet service, roadside assistance, and off-site commercial tire services.
  • Interact with customers professionally, addressing tire-related concerns, providing advice, and recommending appropriate options.
  • Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
