Description:

Job Expectations
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn as the Commercial Specialist reporting to the Senior Manager Supplier and Capacity Management.
A bit about your role
As the Commercial Specialist, you will be responsible for processing of resourcing needs to support nbn’s business units. This involves assisting the requesting teams process the information needed and leading and driving the entire procurement process, from initial submission of the request through to creating purchase requests and receipting. You will handle end-of-month accounting transactions related to purchases, resource management and reporting.
You are to ensure that the Statement of Works (SOWs) are aligned with nbn’s purchasing, financial, and security policies. This will be an opportunity for you to work closely with the Procurement and Finance teams to obtain necessary approvals for Purchase Orders.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in a similar operational or commercial role. You have a thorough understanding of financial processes including receipting, journaling and accruals of Opex & Capex invoices.
This role will require strong communication skills as you will liaise regularly with internal partners and vendors. As someone with a curious nature, the ability to think outside the box at an enterprise level, and exceptional problem-solving skills, you are a quick learner.
