Description:

The Commercial Supervisor manages the Commercial team and develops the portfolio of travel agencies within Argentina by growing sales, increasing the number of active travel agencies, providing day-to-day support for the team related issues and training in products and services.

  • Graduated in Tourism, Commercial management, Marketing, or related areas.
  • Advanced knowledge of English – written and spoken.
  • Relevant experience with Yield and\/or product management.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic team player with a customer- and result oriented commercial attitude.
  • Resistant to stress and a great sense of responsibility.
  • Accurate, structured and analytical.
  • Monitors the general sales trends and special promotions.
  • Creates package deals, and you make sure that those are bookable in the different systems.
  • Organizing and participating in Sales workshops and events to the agencies, partners and customers.
  • Taking care of group requests and will create an appropriate offer.
  • Taking care of the daily activities within the sales team.
  • Distribute tasks routinely, guiding and supervising the commercial team to focus on selling a company’s products and services. This guidance should be aimed at prospecting new customers, as well as executing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Request visits to customers, granting, reviewing credits, formatting payment conditions or amounts.
  • Guide and supervise the dissemination of promotions and demonstrations of MSC Cruises products.
  • Define how promoter training will take place.
  • Monitor reports that must be made by the commercial team with the aim of monitoring the performance of the various commercial areas.
  • Redefine approaches based on insights from consumer research.
  • Always pay attention to the behavior of the competition and new market trends.
  • Prepare reports on results to present to the Commercial Manager.
  • Participate in meetings to present monthly findings or planning meetings to propose goals.
